Charity The organisation of the Spijkenisse-SPARK Marathon supports hospice De Waterlelie. De volunteers of hospice De Waterlelie  provide skilled and compassionate palliative care of the highest quality.

Next edition The eighth Spark Marathon Spijkenisse is on 15 December 2013. We hope to meet you again!

Pacers There will be pacers for 3h15, 3h30, 3h45, 4h00 and 4h15.

Certificate On Sunday 24 October 2010 Wim Jonkman of the Dutch Athletics Association measured the course of our marathon. The course of the marathon is now certified by the IAAF!

Hotels  The Atlas hotel is within walking distance from the start. You can hire a double room (special marathon offer) for € 75,--. Breakfast is included (not included: Tourist tax € 1,00 pp) and you may use the room on Sunday until 17.00 hours. More information:  Atlas hotels.
The Carlton Oasis hotel also has a special marathon offer: a double room for € 60, breakfast included. This hotel is situated 2,5 km from the start and has a swimming pool and sport facilities.
For both hotels it is important to mention the special marathon offer. 

Time registration We will use of the Ipico tag for time registration. The tag was used in the Antwerp and the London marathons. We will only register your gross time.YouTube
